Purpose:
To organize the annual Chapter meeting held each spring.

Composition:
The Committee is chaired by the President-Elect and consists of two to three additional members appointed by the Chair or the President.

1. Current Chair:
   Jennifer Johnson

Duties:

1. Organizes the Chapter’s annual meeting including time, place, meals, programs, and other agenda items in consultation with the Executive Committee.
2. Works with the Communications Committee to ensure that the annual meeting is adequately advertised through the Chapter listserve and web page.
3. Works with the Secretary-Treasurer to collect payment for the annual meeting.
4. Solicits and pursues opportunities for joint meetings with other AFS chapters, related professional organizations, and government agencies when deemed appropriate by the Chapter membership.
