Fisheries Community, Advocacy, and Sustainability Team (FishCAST)
Vision
A chapter culture that welcomes, values, and supports fisheries professionals of all identities and backgrounds.
Mission
The mission of the FishCAST Committee is to (1) recruit and retain members from diverse identities and varied backgrounds (2) cultivate a chapter culture that ensures every member feels welcome and respected within the fisheries community, and (3) work with the Executive Committee to create and advocate for policies and procedures that promote diversity of thought, equity of opportunity, and inclusion of all at the chapter, regional, and international levels.
Composition
The Committee shall consist of two co-Chairs appointed by the President. The Committee will appoint members by self-nomination and approval of the co-Chairs. The co-Chairs may seek assistance from the Executive Committee or other Chapter members as the Chair deems necessary.

Duties
- A representative from the Fisheries Community, Advocacy, and Sustainability Team will be invited to attend all Executive Committee meetings to facilitate communication, but this representative should not be assigned tasks from the Executive Committee.
